This article discusses a song that was written about killing Iraqis by a Marine. This man explains how it was a joke, and was based on a catchy line from a movie. Cpl. Joshua Belile,23, apologized and said it had nothing to do with any allegations that Marines killed around 2 dozen civilians in Haditha last year. Yes, this should not have been written or song by any means. Many Americans today still are stereotyping all Iraqis with the terrorists, however that attitude has to stop. I'm sure age had a lot to do with this song and he is regretting it now. Hopefully, nothing like this will happen again.

This was a very irresponsible and immature action on his part. His intentions may have been to be humorous however he should have had more consideration. Killing and war are not matters to joke about they are serious issues. I agree that American’s stereotypical attitudes towards Muslims, and people from the Middle East, need to stop.
I agree, this is exactly what we as Americans don't need. People hate us enough already and stereotypes are hard to extinguish. Many people are so ignorant though, the "word" homo is used so freely at my work. It offends me, so I can just imagine what those who maybe homosexual think.
